This steam plant had three massive tube oil burners to provide steam heat to Convention Hall, the Casino, the Paramount Theater and other buildings along the boardwalk in Asbury Park,NJ. It was operational from 1930 to the mid 1940s. It has withstood fires, floods, nor’easters and hurricanes. This book is based on a series of photos taken in Asbury Park.
